THE PATH OF DEVOTION
Bhakti Yoga
Bhakti Yoga is the science of connecting with God through devotional loving service. The world famous text Bhagavad Gita is one of the foundational scriptures which describes the process of Bhakti Yoga and explains the transcendental benefits of such a practice.
What is Bhakti?
Bhakti Yoga is the science of connecting with God through devotional loving service. Our Bhakti Yoga programs consist of congregational chanting of mantras (Kīrtana), reading and distribution of Vedic literature, hearing about Bhakti from self-realized personalities, distribution of sanctified food (Prasādam), and many other blissful practices scientifically formulated to increase the love that flows from the individual soul to The Supreme.
The Bhakti tradition warmly welcomes everyone to begin — anyone can chant the Holy Name of God, honor sanctified food (prasādam), and hear from saintly people about devotion. As one deepens their practice, further steps of faith, commitment, and initiation naturally unfold on the path of spiritual advancement.

Bhakti Practices
Explore the many ways to cultivate devotion in your life
Kirtan & Mantra Meditation
Experience the transformative power of sacred sound through call-and-response chanting. Kirtan cleanses the heart, making it a pure place for Love of God and God Himself to reside — performed solely for the happiness of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
Japa Meditation
The practice of quietly chanting the Holy Names on meditation beads (mala). Japa gives the individual soul a sacred process to serve the Divine Couple through the repetition of Their Names.
Philosophy Study
Explore the ancient wisdom texts of the Bhakti tradition including Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. Understanding the philosophy enriches and deepens your practice.
Deity Worship (Pūjā)
Learn the sacred art of Deity worship, offering love and devotion through ritual. This meditative practice engages all senses in divine service.
Prasādam
Prasādam is the sacred practice of offering food with love and devotion to the Divine Couple, and then honoring those remnants as food that has been touched by God. Through this practice, even the simple act of eating becomes an act of devotion.
Seva (Selfless Service)
Practice selfless service (seva) to the community and ashram. Offering one's time and energy in service purifies the heart and creates meaningful connections.

"In this age of quarrel and hypocrisy, the only means of deliverance is the chanting of the holy names."
— Brihad Naradiya Purana
